Don Chuy’s Mexican Grill & Bar

The fact we went on a Sat night and only other two other tables were occupied should have been a sign. Not to mention, I requested sour cream for my meal and sure, I will pay 25cents for some. But $1.50? That was laughable. I could have just bought a tub of sour cream.

By far the worst food I have ever eaten at a Mexican Restaurant. The Nachos were stale, cold and soggy. The ground beef was a mystery meat. Too much sour cream and cheese. Nasty ? Definitely want be back wasting money. I couldn’t eat the stuff.

Waited for almost an hour to order. Took another 30 minutes before food started to come out. Didn't receive all food orders for another while. Orders were wrong. Had to flag down and ask for refills. On a slow business night.

Never a wait. Great service. Good food.

I brought some of my students on Tuesday for lunch. We had a great meal. I heard many of them comment on how delicious the food was. This was some of the most amazing Mexican food I’ve ever had. It was so flavorful, and it was prepared and delivered in less than 15 minutes for our entire group! I’ll be back when I’m back in the area.

It was okay. Fun with my family!

Idk what happened when Jennifer K got here, but I'm telling you that the Burrito Don Chuy could solve the tension in the middle east. Sometimes servers have a bad day too, but when we got here we sat at the bar and were greeted promptly, got some drinks and settled on food. I had barely laid the menu down when my wife's fajita accessories came out and the main dishes, including the glorious ?, were not far behind. Two bites in and I wanted to hug the cook. I finished the whole thing like a little ?y, and while I may be miserable later, I'm so happy now I could cry. Get in here and try it for yourself.

My husband and I love the location on 49 and were thrilled to find this location on 98 that’s closer to us! However, every time we call in an order, a young lady will take the order over the phone, but it’s either never ready or not even put in by the time we come to pick it up. It’s happened more than enough times for it to become a problem. I’d rather drive across town to the location on 49 where I know for sure the staff will have our food ready or better yet have our order put into the kitchen so we won’t have to wait by the time we go to pick it up! The food is too good for this kind of service.

Probably the worst mexican food I’ve had. Had the “carnitas” tacos and that pork was borderline squealing at me. It was nearly raw, oily and not even a hint of seasoning. The tortillas felt days old and the taste was bland and completely off on everything. Don’t even get me started on the birria tacos, what an insult. Avoid at all costs.

Brown butcher paper over the table/tablecloth. Very slow night and service matched it. Food options leaned heavily toward chicken, not so much beef. Zero hot sauce on the table and no offer was made when served our entrees. Portions were small in relation to the prices. Might try it again if my options were limited.

Possibly one of the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The server took our order, taking thorough notes and the order still came out wrong and everyone’s plate came out at a different time. When it was time to checkout, the server didn’t know how to separate the tickets. And rather then helping him; his counterparts skipped ahead of him and watch him struggle while we waited an HOUR!!!! Once we went to the checkout kiosks, we could finally leave. Poor experience.

Waitress spilled a plate of food on me, but she was very professional and apologetic about it. It was clearly an accident and things happen. No worries from me, she brought me a damp towel to clean myself up and our table of 4 guest continued on to have a great meal with excellent service. Brooklyne is a great server we thoroughly enjoyed our experience despite the mishap.
