My husband and I eat at Half Shell once a month and as always the food and service is always excellent! I tried the French Dip sandwich today, if you’re looking for a change from seafood, try it. It was delicious!!! And they have the best Margaritas in Hattiesburg.
Half Shells in Hattiesburg never disappoints! I absolutely love their fried green tomatoes topped with crab cakes — it’s one of those dishes I crave again and again. The almond-crusted chicken salad is another favorite, fresh, flavorful, and filling without being too heavy. Pair it with a glass of wine or one of their cocktails, and it’s the perfect meal. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, and the staff is always welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Hattiesburg!
Louise was our server tonight! What excellent service he delivered! Completely professional in his mannerisms and attire! We had a party of 10 tonight with 4 children and 6 adults! He took our order exceptionally well and the food came out perfect! I also had an unusual request in which I wanted to take the shells of the oysters that we had eaten earlier and he boxed them up for me to go! He took the children in to consideration and asked if we wanted to place children’s food...
