Me & my best friend came here for the 1st time to eat and the food was awesome we had crab legs & a pound of boiled shrimp with 2 sides. It was delicious & work every penny.

Came here for our first time, the atmosphere was great upon walking in.. a older gentleman playing an acoustic guitar, singing.. i ordered the seafood platter, the food tasted pretty good but the portions were small. As you can see... & i asked one of the waitresses that walked past our table maybe 10 times, to refill our drinks and she rudely said shed get my server who was actually busy with other tables... even tho she was headed in the direction of the drinks! So other than that, & the potions... it was good, but probably wont be back... you can go to LTS CATFISH in purvis ms & get the same food but WAYYY more & prices are better at LTS as well. Where i spent 50 here and didnt even get any appetizers. At LTS i spent 54 & got 2 apps & 2 meals... & enough to bring some home....

The foot was very tasty, small portions of coleslaw(VERY SMALL). The waitresses that assisted our table was very rude, condescending and out right racist! You could see the difference in serving the people who looked like them( wait staff) and those who didn't. One of the waitresses thought she should let my party know that the salad bar was not complimentary(* nasty tone and delivery) when all she had to do was NICELY divulge that salad would be an additional charge...just rude. Although the cook was good at his or her job, the wait staff was a complete turn off to where my first and last time visiting this establishment! RockyCreek could teach the wait staff a thing or ten!!

We used to dine here on a monthly basis, but hadn't been in a couple of years. On this visit the menu seemed pricey when compared to their counterparts in the area. They were also out of a couple of things which surprised me since we were there at just after 5 p.m. Newts is well liked by many, so by all means if you haven't been, give them a try and make your own conclusions.
