Husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch. We ordered a few rolls and the gyozas. Server was super friendly and the rolls were super fresh and delicious. We will absolutely be back!

This place is awesome. Our waitress was really nice and the food was amazing. I got the steak habatchi and the vegetables were really soft and cooked and seasoned perfectly. Will be coming back for sure

Got the USM roll. Taste like any other sushi roll in Hattiesburg. Wish it came with extra sauce like some places do.

This is the best Hibachi in Hattiesburg by far! They food was prepared to perfection very well seasoned with very large portions. Just delicious! The chef was very entertaining which was a plus. Service was excellent.

I forgot to take pics this time, but I enjoyed myself here. The food was also reasonably priced for Japanese style food (it's usually a lot more). The restaurant was clean and the food was presentable which added to its flavor. I would dineher again for sure.

Parking: I like it.

Kid-friendliness: There were families here enjoying themselves.

Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't see any steps, which I think would be very helpful.

We are in Hburg for a sports tournament, and we needed dinner after many places had closed. The prices were great, which makes me think that Oishi is geared toward college students. Our server was very friendly, but he got two of the things we ordered wrong - he kindly offered to have the kitchen bring the shrimp yaki soba (we were given the chicken), but we just ate the chicken because we were tired and he was so nice! The noodles were a gummy texture. The gyoza were really good (we had steamed and friend), and my tuna tataki was good quality but lacked flavor and was served over bland iceberg lettuce. My son loves sushi and got three rolls - normally, he eats everything, but he called the rolls "mid" and said the salmon Avocado roll tasted weird. My husband had the steak roll, and it was the next best choice after the gyoza. My final comment is that people were actively vacuuming and prepping for closing while we were still eating - they should not advertise that they stay open until 10 pm on a Saturday night if the vacuum and mop(!) come out at 9:30 pm.

Was seated very easily with some very assume people, 2 different family and culture. The young man prayed before we ate, and we sat and talked while we waited . This is my first time here , but I came from a whole different state. Anyway, I heard great things about this place now. Let me see what the hype about !!tbc!!!

Surprising! Probably the definition of "Dont judge a book by its cover". The hibachi show at our table was a little lackluster, but the other tables were having a good time. Food was good, our server was good, I wish I knew his name so I could give him a shoutout.

Went for lunch sat at the grill was almost done with soup salad & app before anyone else sat down. They for got us they cooked everyone else's food except ours finally the waiter said he would have it cooked in the kitchen, it did not taste the same as grilled & the portions were smaller than usual but charged the same price. Don't know if I'll ever go back!!
