As a traveler, this is the perfect place to go for breakfast and/or lunch...and/or dinner. The staff was super kind, it comes highly recommended by my local friend, and my shrimp and grits was just spot on. It has a lot of great items on the menu and will return to try out other things!! If you're not sure where to go and you've never been here, I highly encourage anyone to stop by and try once. It will not disappoint!

Met the owner while grabbing a quick bite while on a road trip, laid back, lustrous mustache and beard with a flare. This place is located in a strip mall but don't let that sway you from this hidden gem! A variety of options for everyone; Fresh bread made locally, incredible flavor packed combos with a southern twist. Great service and ambiance in an unexpected location!

In looking for a local breakfast spot, we happened upon The South Mouth Deli. It has an odd name so we wondered about the breakfast. We were very pleased with the food. We had the Avocado Toast and Plain Jane Omelette with ham. Both were delicious and the breakfast was reasonably priced and service was reasonably quick. The coffee was really good and self served. We highly recommend this deli for breakfast.
Getting to venture out more and was able to visit and have lunch out. Delicious as always. Just as we remembered.

Worst place I've ever eaten in my life. Dirty silverware. Food was awful. I took 3 bites and almost threw up it was so nasty and the rice to bean ratio was terrible was more like a disgusting soup of raw bacon. I ordered the red beans and rice because they didn't have what was offered on the menu. Complete waste of time and money.

I've been here several times and this place is pretty freakin good. The Black and Bleu Salad is excellent. World's Healthiest Omelette is very good as are most of their breakfast offerings. The only thing I've had that I didn't care for was the Uptown Omelette, which is very greasy. So ya know, the rosemary toast is on point. They gotta bring back the eggs benedict!

This was my first time to eat at South Mouth. I had the shrimp and grits with a bowl of tomato basil soup on the side. Y’all .....it was THE BEST tomato basil soup I’ve ever had. Ever. The shrimp and grits were fantastic! I was the only one at my table that didn’t order pancakes (they said they were really good) but they were jealous of what I ordered. I will definitely be back...Will definitely order the soup again.... Will definitely tell everyone how great the food was!
