super friendly staff. oysters and desserts were great. entree's could go for a little more flavor in my opinion but everyone has different opinions. the library lounge that is attached to the same hotel is very cool as well.

So I was expecting fine doing with white tablecloths and a piano. Instead we were on a sunporch with black tablecloths and a TV set on CNN covering Trump! Was going to be our 25th anniversary celebration, now I need a do over. The food was good especially the Summer salad.

Enjoyed dinner and drinks on a Tuesday. Great crowd -- not overcrowded. Wonderful weather, beautiful setting.
This is one of the most beautiful places to dine in Jackson. The food, drinks, atmosphere.... servers, bartenders.... absolutely everything is great. Expect a lovely upscale, yet laid-back environment. They are not expedient, but they are well worth the visit!!!
Very nice. Although a little short staffed as is every business...Victoria, our waitress, was attentive and kind. The food and water was good.
My husband took me here for my birthday. We decided to have our dinner in the Library Lounge as we were already seated there comfortably and liked the ambiance. I ordered a cocktail before dinner. They had drinks named after Mississippi authors which I thought was really neat. I had a Eudora Welty. It was very different but I liked it. I don’t know either it had very little alcohol or it was just mild. We were brought a basket of rolls which were nothing special as I would have expected. I chose the beef tenderloin, garlic mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus. The tenderloin was okay though a bit overdone. It also had several fatty places. The potatoes were packy and were also extremely salty. The asparagus was lukewarm and a bit tough. This was not the meal I was expecting but I ate anyway. Server was nice but seemed a little stressed though I think she did her best to accommodate us. Atmosphere of the Library Lounge was very relaxed and I liked the ambiance. I would love to return but would make different menu selections.
Wonderful event. Great food great atmosphere.
Such a beautiful and cozy outdoor eating area. Loved the beet salad and scallops with risotto!
They were too busy to even acknowledge that we were there.
Under normal conditions, we would rate this restaurant outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious. The library is a cozy spot, but a little too tight space wise, especially during this rise in COVID. The tables are very close, and it was fairly crowded with both bar patrons and diners. The servers did wear masks, but better spacing would be welcome.

Great atmosphere and food was delicious!
Wonderful experience. Great food and wonderful service. We had a problem with the staff being overwhelmed and slow with the service but the restaurant more than amply made up for any inconvenience that we might have had. The buffet was very good and had a wide variety of meats, vegetables, seafood and dessert. I highly recommend that if you are in the Jackson, Miss. area that you reserve a spot for the Sunday Brunch.
This place is amazing! It has been a favorite of mine for yeard. The food is always good. The customer service is top notch. The prices are reasonable.
The easter brunch was delicious
