Absolutely amazing quality of food and customer service. A James Beard award recipient for a reason. We came all the way from California to eat the best soul food in the country, and this is it. We had the smothered pork chops, pigs feet, sweet potatoes, greens (we chose cabbage), fried okra, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. We’re Vietnamese, and we have pigs feet in our cuisine. Wow! What an absolute GEM to find on our trip south from the Midwest! Everyone working was so friendly! The owners checked in with customers and the food was amazing! Hot and delicious! No better place to get our son’s first taste of real South soul food! The owner even took the time to take a picture with us!
