Everything was exceptional except for when your are to be greeted.The greeter stood and locked eyes with me, waiting for me to speak instead of her greeting us, so rude and unprofessional. She was not a pleasure to run into upon coming inside.

What makes Char special is that it strikes a balance that very few places manage to pull off. It delivers a true fine-dining experience, but at a price point that’s still approachable. This is a top of the line restaurant. White tablecloths and formal service. The grilled blackfish at lunch was excellent. The carmel cheesecake was outstanding with a fresh hot cup of coffee. Terrific service and an upscale atmosphere.
