We ate here for lunch today. Two burgers with fried okra on the side (we requested the okra over fries) and the hamburger steak meal. Ordered two teas and 1 Coke. This meal cost $60 and some change. We waited 49 minutes before lunch was served, but that’s not all. Obviously there was fighting going on in the kitchen between employees. They were very loud with screaming and cursing. Everyone in the dining area heard it. We’ve stopped here before for dinner (Hwy 49 location) but won’t be back.

They took out drink order and brought us our drinks. We ordered our food and half an hour later still no food. Two men there were staring at us...so we decided to leave. We went to register first to pay for our sodas and they charged us $7.50 for 2 sodas!!! What a creepy dive!!!

The cock of the walk has been around for probably 40 years or so and it was once the best fish in Mississippi! It went down hill a few years back but they have new management and I believe ownership and they have done a remarkable job! Kudos to the team! The fish we had was awesome and the service was outstanding! We will be back when we are in town!
