My friends and I did a thing today. We make a point to patronize black business as the only way to build our communities is to invest and also patronize them as the presence of beautiful, educated, minority consumers is important when changing the perception of an area.Today we went to “Hattie’s Chicken and Waffles”. Best chicken hands down ever. Need to be on on TV so the world knows about this hidden gem. I can't even put into words the experience my mouth just went through. From the nashville hot chicken to the Mac and cheese to the fries. Not one thing about this place is just ordinary. Must go. Will drive the 3.5 hours back here just to eat lunch again. Thank you so much for the food and God bless.

Marcus was a one man band today but he never got frustrated. This man cooked, took order as they came in, took over the phone orders, be a waitress and cashier with a smile! I would definitely recommend and go again.
