I'm new to working downtown and decided to try Johnny T's based on a referral from a friend. I placed my lunch order via telephone and was told I could pick it up in 15 minutes. When I arrived, my order was ready and a 20% automatic gratuity was already added. Although hesitant, I signed the ticket. The website clearly states that a lemonade is included in lunch order. When I asked for the lemonades (3 of them), I was told that the website was outdated. I asked how is a customer supposed to know that, the person behind the bar dismissed by concerns and said if I wanted lemonade, I'd have to pay $3 for each. I was livid when I left and said I'd never go back. After tasting the medocre food I know I'll never go back. $61 and some change down the drain.

Nice spot, friendly owner and has options to party for the young and older crowd. I forgot the owners name but he gave me a tour and sent me a drink on the house. I will definitely return on my next trip to Jackson. I believe there is a cover charge when you come after 8-9pm

I took my spouse out for a evening of fun. The restuarant was clean and the food was good. The service was not good at all. The servers were not helpful at all. We had to wait 30 mins to order and hour to pay our check after the meal. Maybe it was a bad night. Based on this experience my spouse said she would not visit this place again. No one seem concern about anything in this place. Based on a scale of 0-10, the whole team gets a 3. I know they can do better than this☹

We absolutely loved it. I reserved a surprise dinner for my mom. All of my people enjoyed themselves so much. My mom was so overjoyed and the food was absolutely delicious. Dem drinks are fye as well. ??

My husband and I dined in from another city in Mississippi. We’ve been a few times and like always the food was delicious- atmosphere was great and so was our service up until we received our bill. We were charge for 2 additional cocktails that we didn’t order or receive. We had a total of 3 cocktails a piece. The bartender tried to convince us that we did order the additional drinks but we had a 3 drink minimum. My husband being the man he is, told me to not worry about it and paid the tab. The bartender gave us another drink- with saying it was to make things right. It didn’t, it’s the principle and makes me wonder how many others this is done to. Everyone isn’t tipsy and not paying attention to what they’re ordering or their tab, we were and always very aware. I’ll return but definitely won’t keep a running tab.

Need regular tables and chairs. I had a hard time getting in those chairs only to have my thighs hurting. I was very uncomfortable at the table.

Liked the atmosphere it was a vibe ?. The good and service another thing. First off, my food and drinks were okay. It was a little expensive for a slushy, not real juice flavor. Then there was the fact this is a cook to order restaurant right. We placed our order only to receive our food 5 minutes after our drinks arrived. Fish was cooked and warmed in an oven, same as wings, which I requested to be cooked cripsy. The only thing that was fresh from the grease was the southwest eggrolls. This was unacceptable especially since there is a 20% service charge which I felt was unnecessary because my food wasn't as order and the waitress took forever to pick up my payment which I attempted to place on the table but someone walked up and tried to slide there phone on the table near the monet when I began to return thinking something was going to happen to my cash payment. I may give this place a try in the daytime where I can address the manager about prior food service. I loved the esthetics of the place.

Went to this place last night and after sitting at the bar for 45 min, waiting for the bartenders to pretend to be surprised by myself and the two other women sitting next to me, I had made up in my mind that this would be my final experience there. The food was great, but the quality of service, I couldn't stomach, and don't think I could ever put myself, or my patience at risk again. It was like they were purposely trying to avoid taking our orders. In fact, I don't think they were going to acknowledge me until the two prettier women sat next to me.
