It's been about 8 or 9 years since I've been back in the Jackson area and Kim's still taste as great as I remember. Just something about the fried pan trout. I don't think they need to worry about closing any time soon.

I got a popcorn shrimp meal from this place yesterday. Not even a hour later I'm throwing up and sick. Had to be food poisoning. I will never go here again. I'm also calling the health department. I am so sick. This place need to be closed down.

Food had absolutely no seasoning on it. I have had fish sticks that taste better. OMG bland bland bland. Had the 1 fish 9 shrimp. 9 shrimp without an ounce of taste. Couldn't even make myself eat them all. Only good thing was it was hot.

I ordered two plates of fried catfsh and one fried butterfly shrimp both with fries. The shrimp was a nice size and the catfish was filet and they were good porced too. The fries were hot out the grease. The line was long but it was a Friday night. Called my order in so it was ready when we pulled up and still hot.

Food was cold and awful. I will never eat there again. Wasn't worth $18 dollars. The waiting time was long and again I will never spend another dime there.

Got this for nostalgic reasons during a trip home to Jackson. The fish and shrimp tasted just as I remembered. I love the batter! The fried rice left something to be desired. They’re definitely covid safe - the woman at the window was very wrapped up - gown, gloves and double mask and visor when I picked up my order.

This is my go to place for quick take out, inexpensive seafood and fried rice. Call ahead and your order will be ready when you pick up. My favorite..the fried oysters are plump and seasoned just right.

Kim's is NOT a five star restaurant. I repeat, Kim's is NOT five star restaurant. What Kim's is however, is really good, fried sea food, always cooked the same good way. There is no "atmosphere" at Kim's, just a drive thru, on what some may think is a kinda run down area. But the food is always good, the same, and fair priced. Ya know, I guess Kim's is a five star restaurant after all.
I have not eaten here since I was in my 20's. I was grateful to see Kim after all these years. The food isnt the same but i was just happy to be there.

Recommend Kim's seafood if you are looking for a quick pickup for Chinese American cuisine. My favorite the fried oysters. They are always good. Not a fan of the fries. They are always cold and almost have no taste. I normally order double salad. You can call in your order. Parking lot in my estimate can only accommodate about five or six cars. Enjoy!
