If you're looking for a quaint space to really have a great conversation with a friend or an intimate dinner or lunch, this place has the atmosphere to enhance that. It's a hidden oasis located in the downtown area of Jackson,

I love this place, The drinks are always excellent, and the service has always been wonderful. Although I am not originally from MS, when I visit The Library Lounge I feel like I am transported into my California girl imagination of the Deep South, ahhh it's so cool! I love sitting under the magnolia tree on the patio it's extra special on a warm night with a subtle breeze, there's nothing like it!

This is a tiny restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The library/Southern writers theme is a nice touch. Definitely a perfect venue for the book worm or literature buff in your life. The dinner menu is excellent and the drinks are wonderful. I recommend getting reservations if possible because the seats fill up quickly! Also, while not necessarily a "dress-up" kind of place, it definitely caters to the business casual, professional types.

Amazing service and wonderful staff! Taja was an amazing waitress! We enjoyed our food and the espresso martinis were amazing!

This place is a whole vibe. It's small and cozy.. the outdoor sitting is very nice with string lights and several tables on old brick. The ambience is different from any other bars in Jackson, it's very warm and welcoming. Very clean too. The drinks are fabulous, highly recommend the espresso martini! ;)

Poor service, took over 30 minutes to get our appetizers & cocktail. This is an expensive restaurant in a beautiful antebellum home so it was very disappointing to receive such poor service. We also became I'll later in the evening after eating there & we were slightly ill the following day. Very disappointing. Would not recommend eating here.

Spectacular service!!! Kentaja knocked it out of the park. She was so accommodating and kind to my table the entire night, we were all highly impressed with her character. If I come back again it will be because of her! Great food and great atmosphere.

The owner is rude and obnoxious. When they’re following a medical school reunion, and the owner could not have been more unpleasant.

The Library is a really great place to go to get a drink in a setting that is lower in volume — both people and noise. The drinks are very good — I recommend the Margaret Walker (a basil gimlet). The beer menu isn’t the most extensive, but a large selection of well made mixed drinks. The patio outside or one the the two rooms inside are great for having a drink and an actual conversation that isn’t had at a level of having to yell over people or music.Kid-friendliness: Not really a place to bring the kids — an upscale sort of place that is for adults hanging with adults in my opinion.Parking: Parking for the library is in the lot of an older medical building to the left of the Library Lounge.
