Scrooge's is great.
The inside atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming.

The lunch specials are good and good value. Each day is a different special, but a set rotation.

The chicken spaghetti and red beans are famous. The fried chicken breast is amazing. The vegetables are always seasoned and good.

The Comeback dressing is spicier than most and keeps you coming back!

Choice of French bread, hush puppies or cornbread. I usually go for the hush puppies!

Friendly service and lots of regulars. This is Cheers of Jackson, MS. Great bar scene and comfortable dining room.

Stopped in for late lunch. No food service 2:30-4..Beer was good. Service was great.

Service we ok when we got it however, there was only 1 bartender taking everyone's orders and making the drinks. So be prepared to have a ling wait to order everything or order all at once. When the food did come, everything was fresh and hot.

we had steak and twice baked potatoes! The steak was good, but the potatoe was awesome! and Aspen was our server and did a great job too!!

Worst Ruben sandwich I’ve ever had. Seems like they used canned pastrami. Tough and leathery. Also left the dressing off completely. We also good quesadilla appetizer and it was burnt to a crisp. All you could taste was burnt flavor and was missing the majority of ingredients listed that came with it. Horrible.

We went here for Sunday lunch and overall it was a really good experience. I got the bacon wrapped sirloin which was great and reasonably priced too. It came with three sides so it ended up being a lot of food. I really liked the squash casserole and the dressing but it was a little weird that they put white gravy on the dressing. I have only ever had brown gravy on dressing and I wasn’t a fan of the combination with white gravy.

We loved our dining experience at Scrooge’s! The food was delicious. The atmosphere was busy and bustling and as a result the waitresses were a bit rushed but they were very friendly.

My wife and I eat here several times a year and I have never had a bad meal. The fried mushrooms are the best we've had in Mississippi.

We had read previous reviews & decided to try this restaurant, it was awesome, from the minute we walked in. We sat at the bar, & was made welcomed right off the bat. Food was hot and very good. Would recommend it to anyone. Plan on going back next time we are in Jackson.

If you want a good tasting juicy rib eye steak then look no further than Scrooge’s Restaurant and Pub. Mixed diverse patriots with respectful personalities while enjoying good food and drinks. This gem was 10 minutes from my house that now when I want a tasty good steak this will be my go-to spot here in Jackson,MS. Thanks for the 12oz steak lastnight team. OMG so good that I was literally licking my fingers instead of using a napkin to savor the seasoning. A1 restaurant!!!!

Had a Shrimp Poboy. The shrimp were a little tough.
