A friend and I went for my 25th birthday this past weekend. It was the first time I had been to a gay club much less a drag show. We had a freaking BLAST! Between the jaw dropping performances to the enchanting and colorful LED dance floor, SHADE made my introduction to the gay night club world a memorable one!Though, the cost of drinks and entry fees added up quickly, making it a splurge for a special occasion rather than a regular haunt.
Despite the expense, my night at SHADE was one for the books. It was a celebration of love, diversity, and self-expression, wrapped up in a package of glittering lights and unforgettable memories. If you're looking for a place to experience the heart of the city's gay nightlife, SHADE is a must-visit—just be sure to bring a heavy wallet.

Wouldn’t go here if I were you. The security guard will ask you for money then deny it when you tell the front who is the person you’re actually suppose to give the money to for entry. Not as good as it use to be back in the day.

Idk what to say other than I can’t wait to come back to Jackson and visit this place. The food offered is great. The drinks, although not a large variety are inexpensive. The bartenders are amazingly friendly. The drag show, although personally I’m not a fan of drag shows, the one I witnessed last night was really well done. And the best part, although it was a club in a smaller city and there was a feeling of closeness and familiarity among the group but no feeling of cliques! The ppl were genuinely friendly and open!
From the staff to the owners this club is top notch. Full bar, Saturday night dragshows, and many other events going on throughout the week. You definitely should give this club a like and a follow on all social media platforms.
