Waffle House in Jackson

“This location was close to my hotel and because I slept in too late to get the hotel breakfast I walked over here. It was my first visit to a Waffle House anywhere. I was surprised it is not that big of a place inside, but I felt welcome. The booths are a bit run down, but the place is clean and the service was attentive. I ordered a waffle and coffee and it was all perfect. And a great value!“

“Awfulhouse consistently has barely edible sub par greasy garbage food at bargain prices. What the food lacks in quality is made up for in great customer service and fantastic coffee. The menu is beyond extremely easy to navigate.
I really wanted to eat at the nearby IHOP but refused to wait in line forever so l came here instead.
Awfulhouse is never my first choice, it's just a repetitive bad choice I keep making out of necessity. The food quality is dismal at best, but I always feel welcomed, I never leave hungry and I never feel cheated.
The working restroom is always a relief while traveling on the highway.
Highly recommend on the outstanding level of customer service alone.

“Driven across the country 4 times and have stopped at plenty of Waffle Houses- this has been the best experience so far out of all of them. Service was amazing, the timing to get our food was fast, the food was perfect. I ordered to go, ate in the car, and when I finished came back in to let the staff know how pleased I was- the girl who took my order goes “what’s wrong?” ? More people should inform the staff when something is good instead of just when something bad. Thank you to you and your staff! ?“
