In the trenches of culinary warfare, where flavors clash and only the finest dishes emerge victorious, Sake Cafe Hibachi & Sushi stands as a bastion of excellence. As I ventured into this gastronomic frontline, the sashimi was my ally in the battle against mediocrity. Each slice of sashimi was a masterstroke of precision, akin to a skilled marksman in the heat of battle. The fish, fresh from the ocean's embrace, laid before me like a treasure trove of the sea's bounties. With each bite, I found myself transported to a serene sea, far from the cacophony of clashing cutlery and the silent anticipation of fellow diners awaiting their feast. The sashimi selection was an arsenal of the finest cuts, each piece glistening like polished medals of honor. The salmon, with its rich, buttery texture, melted in my mouth, a silent explosion of flavor. The tuna, bold and commanding, asserted its dominance with a taste so profound that it could silence any culinary critic. In this theater of war, where each dish battled for supremacy, the sashimi at Sake Cafe Hibachi & Sushi declared victory with every delicate, flavorful morsel. It was not just a meal; it was a triumph, a celebration of peace after a hard-fought battle on the palate.I salute Sake Cafe Hibachi & Sushi for their valiant service in the ongoing quest for culinary perfection. Their sashimi is not just food; it's a declaration of victory, a testament to the art of sushi craftsmanship. Five stars are awarded, not out of duty, but out of sheer admiration for their culinary prowess.
We were coming in from a trip and wanted to grab lunch. The waitress was so kind, however, it was the worst Japanese food we have ever had. We ordered edamame, 2 lunch hibachi and 1 bento box. Our drinks tasted like perfume. The soup wasn't hot and the salad had yum yum sauce as dressing. The salmon was over cooked with a soggy skin left on it. The bento box had soured food on it and the rice was old. We finally received our edamame last and they were over cooked as well. We were very disappointed to the point we didn't feel safe eating our meal. We payed and left. We do not recommend eating here!

Friendly staff and good food at a decent price. I can't say I've ever had a complaint.

This place is the worst ever!! The steak taste horrible, the rice is dry, the salad looks old with dry dressing. Paid 100.00 for trash!???

Absolutely disgusting. One of the worst places I’ve ever eaten at. The management is terrible and when we complained about our food, the manager could have cared less.

TakeOut Review: My new favorite place for fried rice. "Plain" side order of fried rice is amazing and cooked hibachi style with added flavor! Soooo good. I ordered the Uptown and Crunchy Roll. I was scared of the uptown roll not even gonna lie. Added some wasabi, dipped in soy sauce, and ohhh my god. It's not as crunchy as I would have thought, probably due to spicy sauce. It is GREAT! Crunchy roll was good consistency. Crunch was not evenly distributed but still good. The krab didn't have an awful fishy taste soooo very happy. 10/10 Will be ordering a pickup order again.

It's not bad, but it isn't great, either. Hibachi was fair...shrimp was decent, veggies were overcooked, limp and greasy. Fried rice was so so. I feel like with some tweaks this place could be fantastic, but they aren't there yet.

Arrived in Laurel on a Sunday evening, with very few dining options. Sake was recommended by a local, so we went. Pretty shabby exterior, but interior was OK. The lone oriental gentleman was preparing hibachi on a relatively small flat grill. No sign of any Japanese or other Chinese proprietors. Food was OK; not bad, not great. And yet, in their defense, we saw many take out orders leaving.
