“I was passing through and looked up restaurants nearby and Maydro’s came up. I been by there often on the way to Jackson and back and never knew about this place. Tired of fast food I wanted something different and I am sure glad I stumbled on this gem. Other reviews were about their Hamburger steak so I stopped off and ordered that to go. I got there before 7p and didn’t look busy but before I could get to the door the parking lot was filling up. I made my order and every person I met was so friendly this seemed to be a local favorite so I knew I was in for a treat. I sat down inside and it took a bit to get my order but I was relieved because I knew then it was being made to order and fresh. If you can’t wait then you’re better off getting fast food that’s been lying around for a while. When I got home I couldn’t believe how large the Hamburger steak was and covered in gravy and onions. The flavor was amazing I had leftovers for the next day. If you’re in the area on highway 25 do yourself a favor and check this place out. You’ll thank yourself later.”

“Pretty good food for a deli inside a gas station. Don’t be afraid to check them out. Everything I’ve had has been really good. The service is great and they’re always friendly.”

“The food was great. I ordered a steak hibachi plate and an order of crab and cream cheese sushi. The food was very good and large portions for the price. The atmosphere was not very Oriental. There was a sports talk radio show playing instead of traditional oriental music. They seem to cater more to take out business, as they used Styrofoam and plastic instead of plates and metalware. The service was fine.”

“I stopped by here after the recommendation on Matt's Adventures. So I ordered the chicken nuggets and fried green tomatoes and then the jalepeno cheese curds. The staff was friendly and service was quick, about 10 minutes. The shining star was the cheese curds with the runner up being the fried green tomatoes. The chicken nuggets could have used more salt but I dipped then in the ranch and they were fine. But I will be back for more cheese curds.”

“We try to stop in each time we are passing thru Carthage. It is an old school restaurant. Stuck in time in a good way. We enjoy it. We would go a lot more but they close at 5:00 and it is usually after that when we make it thru. Today, the weather got bad early so we left Geysers Falls early and made it there about 4:00. We got 5 milkshakes, a Sunday and a cup of ice cream! =)”

Thanks to the nice window lady named “Lashonda” or as on the receipt employee: “751592”. She’s quite a character too. Lashanda even served me at the second window all in the matter of 20 seconds, 2 meals & a drink to be exact . To Burger King , 🗣️ keep amazing workers like this on staff, cherish greatly those who served like this. Although, I no longer eat fast food I felt like a king through this service today !!”
