My military family has lived around this town for 15 years, and I can tell you King Donuts has earned our business!!!
How? Well can you remember a time back in the day you forgot your cash or your wallet at home you make it to a convenience store or a corner market and the cahier said honey get me next time, or don't worry about it? I can but not in a decade or even two. Today's hustle and bustle has seen these small things go over time.
Now....imagine the city doing line work on the street and knocking out the phone line to the stores card reader, the kids are begging for there favorite sprinkled donut and chocolate milk and you have no cash, yet the cashier says honey it's no problem.. you pay next time with the sweetest smile!
Not there fault yet they provided the best experience I've had in a business here in our sweet little town. I highly recommend there Donughnuts it's one of the most buttery apple fritters I've ever eaten, and my wife loves their pinecones or bear claws. My daughter loves the filled Donughnuts that they fill to order so you can pick whatever flavor you desire.
*I've never had such a strong desire to leave, get a payment, and go back just so I could happily pay and leave a 20$ tip for their complete generosity. I'd leave a higher review if they'd let me. Go Give them a try seriously it's worth it!
Parking: Parking is no problem as they are located inside an old gas station and has plenty of room.
Kid-friendliness: There is always a good selection of sprinkled donuts and drinks for the kids!“

“Wedding cake flavor tastes like burnt hair. Hawaiian dreamsickle is the best. I think buying better quality flavors would up sells. I would also like to suggest an option of putting a scoop of ice cream in the cup and snow ball on top. I would buy that everyday. Suggested retail price for med $3.00.“

“The staff is very focused on what they do and they do a really good job at it. I got me a Cafe Ole and three beignets and it took a minute for this to get done cuz the fryer was down so they whipped out the Fry Daddy. Whatever it was and started doing it even on a more granular level... And the results were fantastic. I'm very glad I decided to come here versus some of these other places around here, so this is a solid reason to come to this casino even if you don't gamble. I think it was like three bucks $350 for three fresh made hot out of the oil beignets with the perfect amount of powdered sugar on them like they're supposed to have and the cafe Olay was tremendous. Strong enough to make your hair stand up and very flavorful. This place will be my new go-to just because of the cafe they have... The Beignet Cafe!“

“What a gem of a spot! Cat Island Coffee offers a cozy, comfortable atmosphere that feels both welcoming and inspiring. The space is tastefully decorated, with walls lined in framed book posters that give it a unique, artistic charm. It’s clearly a place that values both community and creativity. My drink was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. While I didn’t stay for lunch, the menu looked fantastic—plenty of tempting options I’ll be back to try. The shelves are stocked with a great selection of books for all ages, including a sweet children’s section. Whether you’re meeting up with friends, getting some work done, or just enjoying a peaceful moment alone, this locally owned and operated café has something for everyone. I saw people of all ages relaxing, reading, and connecting. Highly recommend stopping by—Cat Island Coffee is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.“

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the friendly smiles of a staff that truly cares about their customers. The breakfast menu never disappoints everything is made fresh, perfectly cooked, and served with that small-town charm that makes you feel right at home. What really sets this place apart, though, is the incredible team. They always go above and beyond to make sure every visit is enjoyable. Not only do they remember us year after year, but they also make sure our dogs are taken care of with fresh water and treats while we relax and enjoy our meal.
