“I used Market Cafe as my caterer for my wedding this past November and had a wonderful experience! They were able to work with me and my theme, were overall very friendly, and made sure we were taken care of. The food was delicious and set up beautifully, and they made sure that my husband, my mom, and I had a plate and were able to eat before we got bombarded with guests. Overall, I highly recommend their catering services!“

Red Onion Restaurant American •

“Out in the sticks, far off the beaten path is this amazing Cajun, Creole restaurant in an amazing beautiful old house in amazing country ambience. It's only open Saturday nights and Sunday mornings, but you will not be disappointed if you plan your trip to include a stop here. You turn at the sign on Miss. Hwy. 15, bear left and go two miles through countryside. Horses and a donkey greet you as you turn in the driveway that leads through the pasture to the house built in the 1800s. The interior, with high ceilings and black-and-red color scheme, is as elegant as the exterior is picturesque. We were there on a Saturday night. Warm, homemade rolls were immediately set before us, a sign of more good things to come. My date got the fried onion straws appetizer. Service was prompt. The crunchy appetizer was delicious. I had the whole fried catfish with delicious coleslaw and a lovely baked potato-- all perfect. The catfish was reminiscent of fish fries at family reunions from my Mississippi childhood. It was perfectly seasoned, not at all greasy and quite filling. My date had the Winston Burger -- juicy, delicious and of such proportion that he decided to eat it open faced. It came with sweet potato fries, also delicious. If only we had saved room for dessert! Chef Sylvia tempted us with her Italian cream cake and her cinnamon roll with ice cream. I would have loved to have tried it that night, but I am looking forward to it on future occasions.“
