“Another great experience today at Walk-On's in Starkville. Have been a "regular" since they opened, and for good reason. Very friendly staff with great work ethic, and food is always awesome.“

“Because I was alone I was seated in a remote corner instead of near all the pictures under studio lights or the buzzing bar area. I didn’t have the view I would have liked and it wasn’t crazy busy while I was there so I felt like this could have been different. For larger parties, the atmosphere is great, lively and lots of nice art and creative lighting.

Service was fine. Not much to say in either direction on that front.

Food was disappointing for what I paid. I felt as though the crust on the steak was just burnt and the seasoning was overly simple for the upcharge. My grits were lacking flavor and a bit cold. I was really excited about my soup but the more I ate the more I had to be honest with myself that it likely came from a can, and again, not warm enough.

I think if I was a local I’d give it another chance but would have to have a different experience to justify the price.“

“Alana was the best server. She was attentive, could share ingredients on menu items from memory and was personable and very caring. It was our first time here and she made the experience really enjoyable with her recommendations that were 10/10!!! Highly recommend the grill at central station. It will not disappoint!“

“I always look forward to stopping by Bin 612 whenever I’m in town. One of my absolute favorites on the menu is the chicken tender cheese fries — the white queso they use makes them so much better than the typical cheese fries you find elsewhere. It’s one of those dishes I end up craving after I leave.

Another thing I really love about Bin 612 is the patio seating. Coming from a place that doesn’t have many restaurants with a good outdoor atmosphere, it’s something I really appreciate. It’s the perfect spot to sit outside with friends or family, enjoy the weather, and just relax. That atmosphere is honestly one of the reasons I choose to come here every time I visit town instead of trying somewhere else.

Recently my bill hasn’t always been exactly the same when I’ve ordered, so I’m not sure if I was charged for an extra item at some point. That said, the service has always been great and the staff is friendly and attentive every time I come in.

Overall, Bin 612 is still one of my favorite spots to visit when I’m in town, especially for the food and the great patio vibe.“

“We have been having our Starkville High School class of 77 and 78 social alumnae gatherings here the 3rd Friday of the month recently ! I can say enough about how delicious the pasta and the tacos are. We usually have 7-12 people in our group and the servers are very attentive and they are quick to fill your glass . I highly recommend Rosey Baby as it has been in Starkville for maybe 30 years or so ! Go there to eat and you won’t be disappointed. I’d give them 6 stars if I could !“

“We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Starkville for graduation and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location alone is worth five stars — the hotel is within easy walking distance of Humphrey Coliseum, which made the whole weekend so much more convenient. No fighting traffic, no parking headaches — just a short walk and you’re there.

The room was spotless and clearly had been recently renovated. Everything felt fresh and modern, exactly what you want after a long day of celebrating. And the air conditioning worked perfectly — which, if you’ve spent any time in Mississippi in the spring, you know is not something to take for granted!

The standout of our stay was the service at the bar. Our bartender was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It added a great social element to the trip and was the perfect way to wind down after the ceremony.

Overall, the Courtyard Marriott Starkville hit every mark — great location, clean and updated rooms, excellent AC, and warm hospitality. If you’re coming to town for a Bulldog graduation or any Mississippi State event, this is the place to stay. We’ll absolutely be back. Hail State! 🐶“

“The food was wonderful! Served as soon as came out of kitchen. We were asked numerous times if everything was good and if we needed anything. I have eaten at lots of captain ds and never been treated so nice. The lady brought out an entire tray of condiments for us to choose from. Very clean and nice.“

“Ordered togo online. Notibly, I remain disappointed because omelettes are not offered on the current menu. When I arrived around 11 pm, restaurant was not extremely busy and the staff were sufficiently polite. After getting home to eat, I found the mushrooms and tomatoes added to my individual- not side- order of hash browns were minimal as well as the serving. I'm sure this is not a decision made by the specific location, but rather a corporate one. My pecan waffle was tasty and the butter was nice and soft because it was placed inside container with the waffle.“
