“I recently visited Houston Grill House for dinner with a group of friends, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant is located in a convenient spot with ample parking available nearby. we were greeted warmly by the hostess who promptly seated us. The interior was clean and well-maintained, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The menu at Houston Grill House offered a diverse range of dishes, catering to different dietary preferences. While the majority of our meals were delicious, one person in our group expressed that their steak was slightly overcooked. It would be beneficial for the kitchen staff to pay a little more attention to ensuring the desired doneness of the meat. Houston Grill House left a positive impression on me. The restaurant's friendly and attentive staff, along with the delectable food options, make it a great choice for a night out with friends or a special occasion. I would gladly return to explore more of their enticing menu offerings.“
“This place is incredible. I would go here all the time when I went to MSU and it was amazing every time. I moved to another city upon finishing school but I miss this great BBQ!! Might road trip just to get those pulled pork nachos with fritos <3“
“I’ve been here several times and never had great service but a subpar average experience. However, the past 2 times I have come in with my friend, Earl, the experience has been off the charts. We had the same waitress both times and she made us feel like we were her only table when in fact, it looked as if she were serving most of the restaurant with the same high quality service. From now on I only want to come in when Aaron with an E is serving my table. Thank you so much for the experience!Happy Customer,Joey Robertson“
“My fourth place to eat since I started my contract job at Ackerman. I have to say the Cajun pasta platter was outstanding. Service was excellent, the young lady was very attentive. My Manhattan was also totally outstanding only place that compares Silver Beach Pizza in St. Joseph MI. If I had two someone would have to drive me back to my hotel. After I complete my list this is right now the first choice as my go to place while I am still working on Mississippi.“
“We were there on Sunday around 12 for brunch. Although it was written that brunch is served until 1:30, upon arrival we were being informed that they serve the brunch until 11/ 11:30!! So we had the choice from ‘lunch menu’. I got a plate of hamburger steak. They had a few options from the sides - I got myself some turnip greens and sweet potato casserole. The hamburger steak was pretty decent, and the green erre usual. Sweet potato casserole was pretty ordinary, and the corn bread muffin was perfectly baked and nice. The coffee they serve was basic, and they keep refilling. Overall a nice place, although the service was very slow. The place was quite crowded too. Overall, a decent place for Sunday brunch.“
“Nothing wrong with the food here. Went in at 9:15, 45 minutes to close, and the food was still fresh and the staff was friendly and helpful. Got the deluxe seafood platter with a small side of clam strips. Everything I wanted and more than I expected quality wise. It really is very good if you like seafood.“
“I got the half order of seafood fries and was not disappointed. The portion size was very good and the taste was good too, just wish there was a little more bacon?. Service was nice as well. Can’t wait to come back and try something else!“
“When I attended grad school in Starkville, Rosey Baby was a cool place to get good food. Nothing has changed. Our bartender, Ava, was friendly and helpful. I ordered a bowl of shrimp gumbo. One of the best gumbos I’ve tasted! From a boy from Louisiana: Justin, you killed it!“
“Recommend by my daughter. I had a late lunch on my way to the library. I started with the artichoke dip appetizer. It was big enough for four people. Very good. Then I had the seafood special. Shrimp and grits with a spicy sauce. It was just what I needed. I'll be back.“
