“Because I was alone I was seated in a remote corner instead of near all the pictures under studio lights or the buzzing bar area. I didn’t have the view I would have liked and it wasn’t crazy busy while I was there so I felt like this could have been different. For larger parties, the atmosphere is great, lively and lots of nice art and creative lighting.

Service was fine. Not much to say in either direction on that front.

Food was disappointing for what I paid. I felt as though the crust on the steak was just burnt and the seasoning was overly simple for the upcharge. My grits were lacking flavor and a bit cold. I was really excited about my soup but the more I ate the more I had to be honest with myself that it likely came from a can, and again, not warm enough.

I think if I was a local I’d give it another chance but would have to have a different experience to justify the price.“

It was our first time here and she made the experience really enjoyable with her recommendations that were 10/10!!! Highly recommend the grill at central station. It will not disappoint!“

“The food was wonderful! Served as soon as came out of kitchen. We were asked numerous times if everything was good and if we needed anything. I have eaten at lots of captain ds and never been treated so nice. The lady brought out an entire tray of condiments for us to choose from. Very clean and nice.“

“Fried Catfish and pulled pork were the best in town when I ate there in college in 80s and 90s and remain the best that I have ever had. Good memories of the staff cooking the food and eating at picnic tables with friends.“

“We have been having our Starkville High School class of 77 and 78 social alumnae gatherings here the 3rd Friday of the month recently ! I can say enough about how delicious the pasta and the tacos are. We usually have 7-12 people in our group and the servers are very attentive and they are quick to fill your glass . I highly recommend Rosey Baby as it has been in Starkville for maybe 30 years or so ! Go there to eat and you won’t be disappointed. I’d give them 6 stars if I could !“
