“We were in Starkvegas with our rising high school Senior to tour MSU. We knew we wanted to check out the Cotton District for lunch. When we got out of the car, we followed our noses toward Two Brothers’ smoker. Our noses did NOT disappoint. White sauce chicken sandwich and homemade potato salad were DELISH! Our daughter had smoked wings, and they were phenomenal! Serving staff was very helpful with making recommendations, and making us feel at home!! I have a feeling (after our on and off-campus experience) that we’ll be visiting Two Brothers many, many more times!! Oh…AND we watched them deliver a water bowl to a pup who was visiting with its family! That was icing on the cake because we LOVE a dog-friendly establishment.“

“5/5 stars. The rib tips here are unlike any bbq I’ve ever tasted! Very flavorful! I go out of my way to come through Starkville a couple times a year just for these rib tips. It is a must try!“

“I went to Cook-Out after the Hardy concert at Dudy Noble on Sept 13th. When we arrived, the drive-through line was backed up past Wendy's and the inside line snaked around all the tables to the very back.
My family and I expected to have a very long wait and likely have inaccurate food.
We were pleasantly surprised!! Not only did the line move quickly; our food was accurate and delicious and the customer service was outstanding. I knew that the team behind the counter had already been working a while and would likely be there long after we left - but they served us with a smile and didn't seem bothered by the long lines outside and in.
Thank you to the Starkville Cook-out staff for always being someone we can count on - even at late hours of the night!“
“Best barbecue ever. I visit the Hot Spot Barbecue once a year: I live in Indiana. This year we bought the whole pecan pie! It is a must!! Love, love the brisket. Great service. See you next spring!“

“Fried Catfish and pulled pork were the best in town when I ate there in college in 80s and 90s and remain the best that I have ever had. Good memories of the staff cooking the food and eating at picnic tables with friends.“
