“When I first moved to Fayette, I tried this place. Got a hamburger steak plate. Was NOT a fan of the onions being on the inside of the hb steak. Today, I decided to give this place another try. I got a large hamburger and order of onion rings. My food was hot and fresh and was enough for my husband and I to both eat on and get full. My food was ready within the 15 minutes they told me it would take.“
“I was introduced to Sam’s by a coworker. That day I had the pork sandwich combo. The price was very reasonable. First impression was the portion size. It was huge! The pork was cooked perfectly and the flavor was on point. They have a house mustard sauce which is my personal favorite type of sauce. I was very surprised to see it in our region as we are not known for mustard sauce around here. If I had to find fault, it would be in the French fries. They were just frozen crinkle fries. When you’re turning out meats as good as they are, it should be complemented by a good old fashioned home fry. Second visit: This time I was ready to try their ribs. I ordered the 1/2 rack……..WOW. First impression, the lid on my go plate wouldn’t even stay closed. The ribs were cooked beautifully. They were not falling off the bone and the bite was perfect. This was a MEAL! I didn’t count them, but I swear that plate had 8 ribs, a couple slices of white bread, and a large cup of sauce for dipping. 10/10.“
