“This place has great doughnuts! I tried a square one that had blueberry and cream cheese filling, and it also was glazed and had powdered sugar on top of it. That was probably the best doughnut I’ve ever eaten. They also have really good cinnamon rolls and really good boudin kolaches. They are super busy on Sunday so if you go then it might take a while.“

“My husband and I love getting our donuts and spicy kolaches from here. We recently tried their Denver omelettes and they are so good. They are made to order and don’t take super long to make - you can even call ahead to save time.“

“Wow wow wow when the name says it all pillow donuts let me tell you. I am a donut concierge and I love donuts by far. These have been the most softest pillow, amazingly tasting out of this world donuts I’ve had in the last three years. I highly recommend this spot. Don’t waste your time anywhere else. This is the place to be hello donuts number one on my list.“

“Shipley's is my favorite donut place around and I was super excited when they opened up near me. Their donuts aren't ultra sweet where if you bite into one, you won't get instant diabetes. The dough isn't too light where you can flatten it super small and it's all sugar. The eclairs are AMAZING and so are the donuts with chocolate, strawberry, etc. They don't glaze the whole donut then dip the top but only the top's dipped which is the perfect amount of sweetness to compliment the doughnut. The staff is nice too and they deliver speedy service. Shipley's is better than big chains <3“

“Went to Shipley Donuts this morning, it was a great experience! Went inside, got 12 donuts and 2 salted caramel frappes. The work atmosphere was really efficient, on another level of service that you usually see. Will definitely come again!“

“I had the churros Mochi Donut, which was drizzled with caramel and sprinkled with cinnamon-sugar. It was satisfactory and not overly sweet. I would also describe it as chewy with a dense texture. PS, this is not a regular donut; a mochi donut base is typically made with glutinous rice flour and tapioca starch.“

“I got biscuits and gravy and a donut to go. The donut was excellent--super light and fluffy. I suspect that I made a tactical error in ordering the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were nice and big, and I bet they make a great breakfast sandwich, but as a base for biscuits and gravy they need a bit more crispness. Still recommend the restaurant though--if I went again, I would just opt for the breakfast sandwich instead. Don't forget to bring cash!“
