“Made a stop here while traveling through Vicksburg. We got a cinnamon roll and a sausage, jalapeno, and cheese kolache. The cinnamon roll could have used a bit more cinnamon flavor, but it was good. On our 3500-mile trip west, I stopped at three other places to try sausage, jalapeno, and cheese kolaches and all were good, but this one was the best -- and the spiciest. It'll wake you up. Divine Donuts may not look like much on the outside, but it's worth a stop.“

“Really good donut shop in the area. Was in town for a week, and this was my coffee stop in the morning except for the last day.There really isn't a big difference between the two different shops. Different coffee (not special roasts, just regular bag coffee). And slightly different take on the donuts.So the coffee here does not move my needle. I am not a Maxwell House fan, and it is what they brew. And the cup lids are cheap. The coffee did get the job done, just did not like MH.BUTThe kolaches are really good. I'd come back just for those. I prefer the dough type on these compared to the other place.The donuts? I think you go to a donut shop like this, if you do not get a great donut... How are they still open? The apple fritters are fantastic.Would love to try the tamales. I am an inter-loper from the north. I do not understand how tamales are everywhere here. But because I do not understand, does not mean I do not appreciate a good tamale, because I do. Next time.“
“Was in town this last week and was stopping at a different donut shop in town. Co-worker pointed me here, and I wished I was going here from day 1.First. The coffee? Consistent, cheap, decent black coffee. Nothing fancy. No frappe, no espresso, at least from what I saw. Just black coffee, cream and sugar if you desire. I'd drink this daily without gripes.The kolache's. I got the boudin. They heat it up without asking, and it is worth it. I will say I like the kolache from the other shop. But not to say I disliked this one. I liked it alot, but did not care for boudin. I am not from the south, so chalk it up to that. But as soon as I tasted it, I recognized it from other creole dishes I've had. Still a good kolache.The donuts? WOW! Great selection, and something for everyone. The apple fritter and rasberry filled were fantastic.I'd go here often if I lived here. I will come back if I ever pass through here.“
