I was visiting out of town and wanted to stop in for some Captain D’s because we don’t have one in my area in Virginia. The dining area was filthy and nasty, food was horrible, and the service was even worse.

Went through drive thru in meridian ms and took the person about seven to ten minutes to even say something to me. Got to the window and the person working, Destiny, put my food in the bag and then walked off for five minutes to do something else . she came back to the window, opened my food and placed the shrimp skewers inside. i went inside and asked if she could remake the order because i saw her open and touch my food without wearing gloves or washing her hands. She had an attitude the entire process. Would NEVER come to this location and spend money again!

I recently ordered the battered fish at Captain D’s! What a disappointment! The fish was not the quality I wanted. Then I found out that they have switched from Alaskan Pollock to Vietnamese Swai! Are you people CRAZY??? I will not be buying again, You have lost this regular customer! ARRG!!!
☹️ THEY CHANGED THEIR FISH! It is no longer Codfish. For the first time ever, I just picked off the crispy part and ate it. The new fish is very fishy tasting, and there’s less of it. I hope all Capt.D’s don’t do this! They, also, had No Coleslaw made. Okra was soggy. None of it hot. Even though we had waited an extra long time for it to be prepared “fresh”. The drive through is broken so we had to wait extra long to order at the window and then wait on our food. Pros: The tea was good and the associate was friendly.

I place the order for three meals combos that supposed to come with hush puppies. I asked for an extra six puppies. They said it was out of hush puppies so I asked we going to replace the hush puppy that come with my combo then they said they were drop some hush puppies so they were gonna cheat me out of money and lied at the same time And out of chicken and large cups

Low stars BECAUSE when my parents came from out of town they couldn't even enjoy their usual experience due to poor customer service. Very disappointed.
