The food was great! The service was terrible. Going home now to get my own refill of tea. My waiter brought the food and we did not see him again. He’s sitting in a booth with another employee when I went t to get my to go box. Told the lady at the register what we ordered so we could pay. There are several other very good Mexican restaurants in town - you need to talk to your employees to do better, to keep your customers!
The Chili Relleno was off the chain!! The food is awesome! I travel America and always go to Mexican restaurants and this one is really good!

La Piñata | Mexican offers good, large portions of food with surprisingly good Mexican options. The guacamole is especially good, and the chips are fresh with a creamy, cheesy cheese dip that has a slight spice. The taco is amazing with marvelous meat, and the beans are smooth and creamy. The spicy delicious salsa and properly made, fairly priced margarita are highlights. Specific meals mentioned include the shrimp típico, a veggie burrito with mushroom, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli, and a Sopapilla with ice cream for dessert. Service can be a bit slow to start but is attentive without being bothersome, and the staff is impressively welcoming. Takeout stays warm and perfect. Prices are about average.
