I had the Primo Special for lunch. It was delicious. The chips and salsa were great as well (the sign of a great Mexican restaurant ). The restaurant was clean and appealing. My Alex was great and even sent me with a soda to go when he brought my bill. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Listen the food was good here, but I realized they have roaches. And not the normal kind that just creep in the infestation kind. No matter how the food taste I don’t want to eat roach particles. I have a picture just not sure why it’s not giving me the option to post it. Roach was on the ground near the kitchen in the hallway.

For the past two years, my SO and I have driven past multiple Mexican restaurants to come here. We moved and there's two within one mile and we still go to LP. I have always loved the place. It's great! The food is always hot, the queso tasty, and the chips are bottomless. The vibe is upbeat and wonderful. And the service is USUALLY great. Tonight was terrible. I'm not going to let it taint the glory of LP.... But I'm sorely disappointed in the new waiter and the managers response to my complaint. But we will be back, and will not sit in his section, again.

5 STARS all the way around! Best restaurant in Meridian! Pollo Loco (#45) is the best thing on the menu! They make me feel like family every time I go in. Always have food out in a timely manner. Friendly staff and excellent food.

Service was good and food came out super quick. #7 lunch special 8/10 Enchilada - chicken. Very small, but it was good. Maybe a 6 inch shell? Could have definitely been stuffed a little more. Enchilada sauce was not much, tasted fine. All of the cheese pretty much melted off the top and went underneath the bed of lettuce. I liked that it came with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream however, the tomato was a giant whole slice. Would be nice if it was chopped up, or even replaced with a pico de gallo. Rice was as expected. Just typical, not much flavor, it was fine. Good to mix into the rest of the food. Or would be good if I got extra enchilada sauce for it. Requested no beans.

Love La Piñata!! Go for their Pollo Loco all the time. It's best with tons of veggies+ chicken. I just usually forget to mention the veggies. Don't assume...

We arrived fairly late for dinner while staying nearby. We were just passing thru on our way to a vacation destination. We waited a long time for a server. Finally flagged someone down and asked to order. Food came quickly and was plentiful and tasty.Restaurant was a bit of a mess from an obvious long day of business. They appeared to need help to get things caught up.
