“We arrived fairly late for dinner while staying nearby. We were just passing thru on our way to a vacation destination. We waited a long time for a server. Finally flagged someone down and asked to order. Food came quickly and was plentiful and tasty.Restaurant was a bit of a mess from an obvious long day of business. They appeared to need help to get things caught up.“

“The food at Don Cheques is so good. For those that have not been here you are missing the best Mexican food in Meridian. Everything we have tried here is fresh and delicious. The fajita burrito is my favorite! Try it you want be disappointed.“
“I am new to the area and did not know where to go for breakfast tacos. Found this place online and realized they were starting a delivery service the same day. I live very close and simply did not feel like driving at 8am. I placed my order via text and got my food 20 min later. I was not disappointed with the tacos or the service. Very convenient and the driver was very nice.“

“My husband and I came in for lunch the other day because I was desperately craving a torta de milanesa. I'm pregnant and it's all I could think about. While it's not an option on their menu, I noticed they do have milanesa so I asked to have a torta with milanesa. They happily accommodated my request (after some brief clarification that I actually wanted a sandwich lol) and IT WAS DELICIOUS. First of all, this was hands down the best milanesa de pollo that I have EVER had and I try it at almost every Mexican restaurant. Second, I don't know what magic bread they used but it was nicely toasted and just perfect. Add in lots of Mayo, lettuce, fresh avocado, and some of the house habanero hot sauce and I was in heaven. Also, the portion was huge. I was able to take half the sandwich home and have it for dinner. The only downside is that instead of satisfying the craving, it's ALL I can think about! I even leaned over to my husband in church today and whispered, "I can't focus because I cannot stop thinking about that torta."Thanks y'all for accommodating me. I will definitely be back to order the same thing very soon!“
“Love this place and the staff and owner Carlos Espino are awesome ! They remember you and treat you like friends instead of a customer. Carlos takes time to visit with customers and even gave everyone a Happy New Year shot on New Years Eve ! Great atmosphere and “
“Would have given it 5 stars. The only thing was the waiter. He must have had an off day. I spilled a drop of salsa on the menu, and before I could clean it up, he pointed to it and told me to clean it. Thanks, mom!It's located inside the mall. The food was excellent at a great price!“
“i loved my waitress she was sooo sweet and kind and very good at her job very swift and a very good and attentive waitress overall. ten out of ten i would return there not only for the food but in hopes to get that waitress again! the prices are also really good for the amount of food that you can get.“
“We stop here for lunch frequently while traveling with our two miniature schnauzers. They have a patio outside that we use so we don’t have to leave the dogs in the car. They are very accommodating, bring them water to drink. The food is good, service is great, but the patio could be a little cleaner.“
“The food was absolutely amazing and full of flavor I got the pollo loco(arroz con pollo). There was one of the most beautiful and sweet women I have seen there. She spoke to me in spanish because I spoke to her in spanish. I am not the best but I found it kind of her to patiently give me the chance to practice.“
