The food at Don Cheques is so good. For those that have not been here you are missing the best Mexican food in Meridian. Everything we have tried here is fresh and delicious. The fajita burrito is my favorite! Try it you want be disappointed.
My husband and I came in for lunch the other day because I was desperately craving a torta de milanesa. I'm pregnant and it's all I could think about. While it's not an option on their menu, I noticed they do have milanesa so I asked to have a torta with milanesa. They happily accommodated my request (after some brief clarification that I actually wanted a sandwich lol) and IT WAS DELICIOUS. Used to go here all the time when I worked at peavey and it is hands down bar none the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. Get the chicken tacos with salsa verde and thank me later. The people that work here and run it are the kindest folks around.
