Hadn't been to Meridian in a while, but parents brought up Captain D's. I was hesitant due to places like Mc**** on 19. Same place. Clean. Restaurant quality. I went on 3/2 so the staff should be recognized. They worked with what was available.They were out of certain items.Review-wise... I expect service, cleanliness, etc. It's a lot to ask for fast food speed with seafood restaurant quality.

My sandwich was absolutely disgusting. Clearly, the oil needs to be changed. It is very nasty with all burnt crumbs on it.

I have never went to this location and was not pleased. But this day it was horrible. Customers were upset . Workers were upset. The food did not smell right and i was not able to eat it. I was very disappointed with my experience. But i did see a young man go to one table to address a customer's concerns.Like i stated early i have never had a bad experience at this location before. Something was really wrong that day.

I ordered the family seafood feast which is fish, shrimp, and stuff crab. I get all the way home there is no stuff crab, about 3 pieces of fish and a whole bunch of chicken, but we did have our shrimp . It's pouring down rain and I live out in the County. I call to let them know my order was wrong they ask are you sure you ordered the right thing and can you bring it back. I tell them I'm a Cancer patient and I can't get back out in the rain. Their reply is can you bring it back tomorrow. So now I'm going without supper and I'm suppose to keep food over night so I can take it back tomorrow. The least I expected was an apology for tge mox up but no they just get my money . I know people try to rip off places everyday ,but this was not the case . So if you order from this place make sure you have the correct food before leaving . You can't tell the difference between chicken and fish . So break it open and see before leaving .

The restaurant had only a few people when we arrived and placed orders; however, it was taking so long so I went to the counter to inquire about meals. I was told it was not up.A few others came in later and their orders were up pretty fast, but not ours. After waiting a while longer, I returned to the counter to find out that my order was lost/missing/never filled. Finally after over 45 minutes, we were given food that was obviously already prepared.I was ready to cancel and leave but my sister had her heart set on fish. Needless to say, I don't think I will be eating there any time soon. HOWEVER, the food was good.

I've been eating at this location for decades. But it seems like the food quality has slipped below standard recently. I got the 4 piece catfish platter today with an extra side order of potato soup. 2 of the 4 pieces of catfish were spoiled and I had to throw them away. And the potatoes in the soup were hard and not thoroughly cooked. This was a $24 meal. And this is the 2nd time over the past few months that I've got spoiled catfish there. I'm not sure if I'll be going back again. I'm an older disabled gent and I don't get to eat out that often in these troubling times. And I expect for the meals to be edible and not where I have to throw half of the main course away.

I am very disappointed. I ordered a two piece hand battered catfish. When I got my order I couldn’t believe they called it a two piece. It was strips no longer than five inches long and no wider than an inch wide. I asked the lady that handed it to me. Are you serious, you all are calling this two pieces of fish. It looked nothing like the picture. I have been a customer for years, and for some time now the quality and service has been going down. I am not a picky person that everything has to be perfect. But the price of the food didn’t match up to the portion. They just lost a long time customer.

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants. The service in the drive-through is good ??. I simply having to ask them to add the condiments. I know this a strategy to save the restaurant money, but it is annoying.Kid-friendliness: They offer great kids meals. Plus, the meals come with activities for the kiddos.

Their food quality has deteriorated emensly, while the price of a medium fountain drink cost more that a 2 ltr., in the store. They will not be my choice for a quick meal again. And, the customer service leaves much to be desired. ATTITUDE ABOUNDS.
