I'm from Dallas, Tx now living in Meridian. Finding good Mexican food is a myth here. The food is extremely greasy, and expensive. I've lived all over the US and usually can find good Mexican food, but not here. Good thing I can make my own. Try draining the grease before adding sauces and your taste will improve. No need for a snappy response.

The nachos and barriah tacos were amazing! I drove all the way from Jackson to try them! 10 out of 10 for sure! I definitely recommend and will definitely be stopping by again!

Great food. But the prices is outrageous I have lived somewhere where you can get three biarra tacos for $ 6.00. Mr. taco used to put a lot of meat in them but now they slacking on their meat.

We moved down from Chicago and had started to think they just didn't gave real tacos anywhere in Mississippi. Then we discovered Mr. Taco. This window service spot is its own reason to visit Meridian! Al Pastor, Barbacoa, Birria, all perfection!

REAL AUTHENTIC TACOS!!!! Since moving to MS from Chicago, it has been almost impossible to find truly authentic tacos. But I’ve found them and they are here!! If you don’t want the weird untraditional tacos of the southern states, head to Mr. Taco and enjoy an authentic Mexican taco. I live two hours away and will probably have to make the drive out next time I’m craving a real taco. Keep you the excellent work folks!

I really like the birria tacos I ordered. The man taking my order was nice. Not located in the nicest looking area of town, but the food is legit. I left the other taco place down the street disappointed, San Antonio taqueria y tienda, and this was a pleasant end to my search for delicious tacos for the evening. I would definitely recommend this place over the other and it's right down the street.
