Was really looking forward to this while traveling. Greens taste like can greens, yams tast like can yams that been doctored up. I was assured the beef ribs were going to be good but they were so freaking tuff. Totally disappointed.
We had the rib tips with okra and the half chicken plate. Meat was tender and the sauce complimented the meat. I would have preferred the tips to be more grilled and seared than they were. This critique was more of preference versus what their customers are probably accustomed too. Baked beans and greens were delicious per my boys. The okra was overcooked and lacked seasoning/salt. Overall, some hits and misses at the Rib Shack.
Outstanding BBQ!!!!! The best I've ever had. Pulled beef was tender, ribs are huge and meaty, the brisket was super flavorful!!! But the best part was the Mac and cheese...AMAZING! Oh and the amount of food for the price is unbelievably affordable.
