We always stop at Weidmann's on our travels East to see family. Our dinner is a highlight after a long day traveling. Never disappointed. Exceptional service. Great desserts!

Being alone I sat at the bar area and the bartender was incredibly attentive and delightful. She went out of her way to make certain I had an enjoyable time and it was appreciated. I had the fried green tomatoes to start and they were good just too much breading to actually enjoy the tomatoes. The "comeback" sauce was exceptionally good and was what made the dish. I probably should not have ordered it b/c it meant I could not even begin to finish my dinner. I ordered the Redfish 1870 for dinner and it was excellent ( & much more than I could handle as I had leftovers for the next day's lunch), It was very well executed and quite enjoyable. I would order it again when I visited Meridian.

Super good spot. Never had a bad meal here. Known as the oldest restaurant in Mississippi. It's just good. Be sure to get the fried green tomatoes with the 1870 sauce if you go.

Top notch in all categories. Food and service were the best I have experienced in a long time. Our party was there in memory of a loved family member. Our server was very respectful of the occasion and accommodating to our needs and wants. The food was delicious.. I was very impressed. I would highly recommend this establishment if you are in the Meridian area.

It was wonderful....Callies service was great.....both the managers stopped by and checked with us....my large pork chop was great and the sweet potatoes were good...as advertised....my wife's chicken st frances was good and my son's chicken alfredo was good to him....thanks

Really great. It's been a long time since we have had such a wonderfull experience. Worth the wait. Meridian, Ms. is a real southern gem and Weidmann's is the crown jewel.
This place was top notch. I am celiac and have lost half of my small intestine. I have to be careful. This place was excellent. The server, manager and the chef came out to assure me. The food was delicious and the drinks were great.

The service was terrible and the food was disgusting. Only thing good about this place is their mixed drinks. Definitely don’t recommend unless you are just going to drink!!!!
