Good 10/10 and they are super friendly!
This was our first time eating here and we will most definitely be back!!!! The food and the whole experience was absolutely phenomenal!!!!! I got the curry chicken with rice and cabbage, my husband got brown stew chicken with rice and greens, and my daughter got the jerk chicken with Mac and cheese. Based on reviews, The Island 601 | Jamaican is one of the best Caribbean spots in Meridian. The food is amazing, with amazing flavor and very nice portions. They do not hold back on the seasoning. From the oxtails to the jerk chicken, from the rice and beans to the mac n cheese, the food is truly delicious and as authentic as it gets. The customer service is even better, with welcoming and attentive staff who make sure everything is perfect. This is the best restaurant in Mississippi. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and get some food. It does not disappoint.
