I had the Mississippi Catfish dish with Hoppin’ John as my side and my sister had fried green tomatoes and Bbq Shrimp. Each entrée was served hot and fresh. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and our server was quite friendly and solicitous.
Food was excellent but service fair. After we received our food I noticed others were informed of tonight's "specials". We were never informed. Disappointing since they sounded good.

Weidmann’s was recommended by a friend and I’m glad he did. The history of the restaurant was really cool. The food was excellent l, you have to get the fried green tomatoes! The bread pudding was amazing too. The atmosphere is really nice and if it’s not to hot check out the rooftop bar?
