“Are you seated? You better be to listen to this properly. Faye's is one of those unbelievable little eating establishments hidden away from the main drag of things. It's not large, and it's not fancy, but Faye's packs a wallop in what's important. Where else in the world would you be invited to try a sample plate of offerings before ordering? And what about size? The full meal must weigh ten pounds, and it's good. The chicken is good, the sides are good, and everything is home-made. This place is a must stop. We had the privilege of talking with Faye while we dined. She is a lovely person and a perfect example of what's right in this world. . . that is, a hard-working woman making sure what she does in her restaurant is top-notch. She's up at 3 am, begins work at 4 am, stays on until closing at 5 or 6 pm. OK, that's what you need to know. Now get up and get moving to Faye's!“

“A Fridays only food truck. I've passed it several times on my way out of town, but had not had a chance to stop. I got off early on this occasion and decided to give them a try for lunch. I ordered the ribs dinner and a hot sausage. The sausage was fairly spicy, which I enjoyed. It went really well with the BBQ sauce. The ribs while not too smokey, were still tender and flavorful. You don't really need the BBQ sauce on the side, but I used mine anyway. This side were basic but good. The potato salad wasn't too sweet, and the beans were not just from a can. You get a decent amount of food for the price too. I'll have to try the chicken on the next visit. Takeout only, unless you can't wait and eat in your car.“

“I have been going here for decades to purchase bar-b-que plates from Mrs. Molly and her family by the church on Saturday's - this is just nice people with a basic set up selling BBQ and I believe some of the profits go to the church. They have small cakes, pies, and sodas for sale most of the time. You can expect ribs, chicken, sausage, and turkeys - baked beans and potato salad > can't forget 2 slices of bread. This is a outside set up and they have been working on getting the restaurant portion opened which is at the same location. I usually get my meat(s) without the bbq sauce - I believe they use sweet baby rays bbq sauce.“

“Tucked in the back of an inconspicuous shopping plaza, it's really easy to miss this place as I apparently have even though I pass it every day. They serve up smoked seafood and BBQ. Simple but everything was good. While there is BBQ and seafood abound, I haven't seen any smoked fish locally. On this occasion they had red snapper or flounder, I went with the snapper. Not sure if the choices change depending on the year, having lived in Florida I wouldn't mind some mullet at a future visit. The fish itself was well smoked, not dry or overpowering or ashen. The potato salad and the beans were good as well. I can imagine the BBQ being equally good.“

Wasn't disappointed in the food one bit, baked beans are to die for!

A little bit pricey paying $20.99 for a 6 rib dinner though.“
