I haven't been to the Kings Tavern since 1992, back when I lived in Natchez, but this is probably my favorite restaurant of all time. I'm sure the establishment's management has changed hands since then, so please forgive me for reviewing a restaurant from over a quarter-century ago. I have nothing but wonderful memories of eating here. I can still taste the steak, baked potato, and shrimp that I ordered every single time. I wish I had the recipes for those items, because they were perfect. Let me repeat that: they were perfect. So, with my memories out of the way, I wish the current owners nothing but the absolute best for keeping the legend of the King's Tavern alive and well in this 21st century.

It was closed and for sale
Closed down:(
Walked down here from our b&b and it was closed. Web site said it was open, sign on the door said open, but the door was locked! Not happy!
Walked by today (July 12th 2020) and this restaurant is no longer in business. The building is for sale and the phone number is disconnected.
Great experience.Came here with a friend of mine from Mongolia. He was a little unsure about some of the menu items. We both had great meals. It's pricey, sure. But the nice thing about that is that it keeps away the vacation crowd and their noisy kids. And the quality of the food makes it a great deal. The chefs make each meal fresh. The server/diner ratio is low. You get quick service and lots of attention.

Great food and great service!
Old pub with lots of history.serve meals and some very wonderful mixed drinks of their own design. Owned by the Charboneau family next door is their distillery where you can learn how they make local rums and enjoy rum tasting
We visited three times whilst visiting Natchez.Great food and friendly staff. Would certainly recommend. ?

It seems that Kings Tavern has relaxed a bit from what I remember from my previous visit years ago.
Kings Tavern has changed a bit from the last time I visited. I feel like its a bit more relaxed than on the past. The food was good and they had a nice cocktail selection. They also had three local craft beers on tap.
Great food. Friendly bartender. Lots of history and ambience.
Great atmosphere, great service and delicious food! We had the meatball appetizer, barbecue shrimp, steak and the chocolate ice cream with salted caramel sauce. It was all wonderful!
Have no words to describe how amazing this was. Would totally drive back just to eat at Kings ! Some on the best food I have ever eaten.
