I have loved this restaurant for years. Recently, I was so disappointed. I ordered the, ‘SEAFOOD” gumbo and a wedge salad. Even though I received a half of lettuce and a wedge, it was still good. The waitress did explain the gumbo comes with a dark roux and once she brings it to the table she cannot take it back nor take it off my tab. (Red flag). I was fine with that and I don’t mind trying new things. If I don’t care for it, then that’s on me, I will still pay my tab. Once it arrived, my first try, it’s was horrible. Not the smoky flavor that’s was explained. I really thought I had mushrooms in my gumbo. No these were burned sausages. Wait?-no seafood. I asked the waitress and she said, let me go get the manager. About 10 minutes later the waitress came back with a bowl of shrimp. She said, the manager is too busy so she sent you these. No I need to see her. An assistant manager arrived and explained that it was a mishap and they don’t cook their meats with the gumbo? (Red flag). Long story short, the manager that was too busy to come to my table only offered me 50% off the sausage and rice soup! My suggestion, change the name to sausage and shrimp soup, seafood does not mean shrimp only and you should care about presentation. But, my prickly pear drink was really good! We just left after standing in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting to be seated. I’m looking around and there’s 30 tables that’s empty and the girls are standing there acting like they’re waiting for a table to come available.

Good, simple menu in a clean room with friendly service ... not an easy find.

Great tasting food. No wait time. Fried pickles are enough for 5 people. Seafood platter is large. Definitely worth the price

Biased review! I went there for the gumbo. Never had gumbo before and was told they sold it. When I finally tasted it…ugh! It was watery, burnt flavored and just TERRIBLE! I tried the boudin ball’s and it was not to my liking (a texture thing). Waitress and management were very understanding and professional. Aside from my experience, so many visitors spoke HIGHLY of this place. I would try it again.

After hearing good reviews about this place I told my family let’s give it a try. The worse experience ever. My daughter waited 30 minutes after everyone had gotten their food for her food to come out luckily it was hot. My food came out COLD the boudin balls I ordered came out COLD & STILL FROZEN the only thing we did enjoy was the seafood nachos. I asked to speak with a manager in regards to my order whomever was on duty 8/30/25 between the hours of 6-10 NEVER EVEN CAME OUT to speak to me about my order RIDICULOUS especially after spending $185 the customer service received from the waiter was HORRIBLE she wasn’t friendly at all but I expected that knowing that her tip would already be included in our bill. Never again would I visit here. Wish I had taken pictures of all the food to showcase it.

Friendly staff with great recommendations. Outstanding and quick service, but not to the point of feeling rushed. Quality food and generous portions. Highly recommended for anyone in the Natchez area.

Our waitress was pretty good and gave good service, but the food just wasn’t great! The ribeye was 43.00 and I left more than half of it on the table and didn’t want it to go. I’ve been in the area before and never had a chance to try it, but we drove a few hours today to try it for my fiancés birthday. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

Waited to give our order, the waited an unnecessarily long time to get our check. Had to ask for the check after the waitress had picked up our dishes. This was my second and last time I'll eat here.

This was the worst food I have had in Natchez EVER. The food tasted like it was all fried in the same old grease. Everything you ate that was fried tasted like fish and the other food had NO flavor. We were lied to by the waitress when the bill came an item was supposed to be taken off of our ticket and said it couldn’t be just subtract it from the total and then her finger must have hit it. So neither thing was said made sense. Then it miraculously came back with it off when I questioned it. Service started out great and ended terribly with a not needed attitude when we never once was rude! We will not be back in this establishment. It ended up being over a 25$ tip that wasn’t deserved.
