Service was great. The Roux 61 pasta was very good. Shrimp were cooked perfectly with an amazing garlic flavored pasta. Give it a try.

Everything seemed to be deep fried and all seemed to taste pretty much the same. Too pricey for the experience, in my opinion.

We went on a Saturday (11/1) evening so there was about a 20/25 minute wait. The atmosphere was lively and friendly. We sat near the back bar, the service was good and the food was yummy. We got fried green tomatoes, grilled oysters (both ways) for starters. I got the seafood potato but I swapped it out for pasta. The hubs got fried catfish. There was absolutely no complaints from either of us. Weād definitely be back.

I have loved this restaurant for years. Recently, I was so disappointed. I ordered the, āSEAFOODā gumbo and a wedge salad. Even though I received a half of lettuce and a wedge, it was still good. The waitress did explain the gumbo comes with a dark roux and once she brings it to the table she cannot take it back nor take it off my tab. (Red flag). I was fine with that and I donāt mind trying new things. If I donāt care for it, then thatās on me, I will still pay my tab. Once it arrived, my first try, itās was horrible. Not the smoky flavor thatās was explained. I really thought I had mushrooms in my gumbo. No these were burned sausages. Wait?-no seafood. I asked the waitress and she said, let me go get the manager. About 10 minutes later the waitress came back with a bowl of shrimp. She said, the manager is too busy so she sent you these. No I need to see her. An assistant manager arrived and explained that it was a mishap and they donāt cook their meats with the gumbo? (Red flag). Long story short, the manager that was too busy to come to my table only offered me 50% off the sausage and rice soup! My suggestion, change the name to sausage and shrimp soup, seafood does not mean shrimp only and you should care about presentation. But, my prickly pear drink was really good! We just left after standing in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting to be seated. Iām looking around and thereās 30 tables thatās empty and the girls are standing there acting like theyāre waiting for a table to come available.
