We missed it
I been wanting to stop at this iconic landmark,
Mammy's Cupboard in Mississippi on Highway U.S. 61. I finally stopped and been missing good food that is made in house. I had the meat loaf with three sides. For dessert it was coconut pie with a mountain of real meringue. I'm so glad I stopped before they move near the hospital in Natchez. I will go back when in Natchez. Bon Appetit!
Such a neat find in Natchez! They serve daily specials as well as sandwiches. I had the reuben. My husband had the meatloaf. Both were amazing. The staff here is so friendly and the service was quick. I recommend trying the banana caramel pie. The owner's daughter makes all the pies by hand. The banana caramel was top tier. I wish I had room for lemon Icebox as well.
