We have been visiting The Guest House for awhile and the last 2 times before we went this last time were way below what we have ever experienced. This last time wasn’t the best either, but better. We told ourselves that if it was the same as the last 2, we would stay somewhere else. First of all, when we arrived no one was at the desk. We waited. And waited. The rooms are numbered now( name plates taken down) Check in staff seemed bothered (it was 4:30pm) We were asked to pack up and change rooms because of a "computer glitch " that ended with "oops I forgot to refresh the screen, you're fine"Upcharge for bacon, and where is Mr Henry? We've been staying here for years, trying to stay in every room. This will be our last visit. But the room was clean...
we absolutely loved our stay. the manager and staff were amazing! the beautiful furnishings around the house made it feel like you were taking a trip back in time. very grateful for our time there.
