Maaan, they NEVER MISS when it comes to cooking that fishš š Can you believe this is a small fish plate. Dude, they serve the kind of plates that will make eat and wanna go straight to sleep.š“ The portion size of the pieces are JUST RIGHTšš¾ Although I've never been good at remembering namesš¤¦š¾āāļø...I never forget a face, and the lady that delivered my plate at the drive-thru window is one of the sweetest I know and always drops a gem in my spirit with every visit š Speaking of...that LEMON MILKSHAKE touched my soul FRšš½...from the first sip. I couldn't wait to try it. I told her how I wanted it, and had to throw my hands in the air cuz it was so good. If you're in the Natchez area on business, or just hanging out for leisure...do yourself a favor and stop by, tell the crew Hišš¾ and give one of their menu items a try. It is obviously a local icon. I had a hot fudge sundae and it was typical custard cream with a good fudge sauce. There is a large picnic table to eat at.

(Updated review) Any time Iām visiting my family in Natchez we always make a trip to the Malt shop - we love it. Even had our names etched in the original table. Service was always wonderful, food great, and loved the atmosphere!The last time we came, I place a pickup order over the phone. She was nice over the phone and then it came down to paying. I gave her the info and she asked āhow much do you want to leave for a tipā I was so caught off guard because weāve never been asked to tip and Iāve never tipped for fast food. I stumbled over my words and jsut said something like ācan we figure that out when we pick it up?ā And she already was irritated by that response.I do not tip for fast food, and itās super rude to ask in this way.We got there to pick up our food. And again she said something like āyou can add your tip on hereā and let me tell you how SHOCKED I was and so uncomfortable. I didnāt leave any tip and when she took the receipt back she gave us the meanest look and slammed the window shut. We still had to wait a bit for our food okay, so now at this point Iām uncomfortable and my anxiety is raising. We finally get the food shoved to us and not one word was said and she didnāt even look at me. The window was slammed shut on me again as I slightly leaned forward to say āthank you so muchā.I donāt think I be ever been treated so rudely in my life, and I could never imagine treating anyone like that.Maybe she was just having a bad day, I get that, but I will never forget how I was made to feel after doing absolutely nothing wrong.I had two other witnesses with me who saw this interaction, and the other customers around who also looked very confused and shocked by what was happening.This to say, we have had plenty of wonderful interactions with the other workers there, but this definitely puts a damper on all the memories weāve made at the Malt Shop.(Old review) I eat here every time I am in natchez! I can never get enough of their malts and other foods! They are simply one of the best!
