“I’ve been buying coffee from High Point for several years. When I was buying roasted beans, the roast was always consistent and spot-on. When I started roasting my own beans, High Point was the obvious choice for Bremen coffee.I’ve been roasting the organic Mexican beans—Chiapas Turquesa—and cooling them with a mixture of Mexican vanilla and bourbon. I take them to a medium-dark roast, just as the beans begin to release their oils. They are dumped into the cooling mixture, swirled around a good bit to distribute the mixture and allow it to absorb. Twelve hours later—to allow for off-gassing—I’m ready for the perfect cup of coffee.I ordered 10 pounds recently. They disappeared in the US Postal service. After more than two weeks, I contacted High Point. The next day, they had a new shipment set and sent. (During those weeks, I bought a pound of whole-bean coffee from another local source. They were entirely inferior to the coffee roasted by either me or by High Point.)Fantastic customer service!!! They have earned a customer for life!“
