Mexican Restaurants in Newton

“We found ourselves passing through the area on the interstate and decided to stop. We had not been to this restaurant in five years and hoped it had improved over our last visit. If we had remembered we would have probably just stopped in Meridian.

That being said we were promptly seated and our order taken. Our food arrived hot and delicious which dispelled the bad vibe I had of the place from our last visit. The wife's taco was great she said and my burrito was on point. The salsa was great and the waitress very helpful and courteous.

We had a good lunch and continued our journey after I told the manager on duty I was pleasantly surprised at the quality after the last time we were in the area.“

“While traveling I decided to stop here for a bite to eat. No one was at the counter to take my order, then a young man came from the kitchen to the counter. His name is Craig and he took the initiative to learn to work the register to take my order so I would not have to wait. He was very kind and considerate. And then I really appreciated the fact that he learned something new just to serve me.“
