Just a laid back country restaurant! Great food, friendly workers!
We visited the Catfish Hut on a Saturday for lunch in mid-May. Arriving around 11, we were early lunch guests and several other locals arrived closer to noon. There was a steady stream of take out customers, too. The dining area was clean and inviting. We had the 2-piece catfish dinners, which came with one trip to the nicely stocked and fresh salad bar, a bake potato, and two hush puppies. We had an extra order of piping hot fried okra. All the food was hot and tasty. The prices were very reasonable, too. The staff was friendly and attentive.

We just found The Catfish Hut on Enid Lake and stopped in tonight 20 minutes before closing time. We were greeted and told there was no problem with the time that we could eat in. My husband had the fried fish, which was delicious, with onion rings. Those were the best onion rings I’ve ever had. We were told they are homemade. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was delicious also. We will definitely be going back.
Great food and great people that own it
Great service and Great Food
Best food ever! Our waitress was wonderful and the food came out quickly. We will definitely be back.
Food was cold ,soggy fries instead of a hot baked potato. Who doesn't serve gravy with country fried steak? Won't make this mistake again.
Do not let the area and building fool you. FRESH. PERFECT. EXCELLENT. EXCELLENT onion rings, too! GREAT pricing. New destination. Thanks Catfish Hut!
We stopped in mid week for an early dinner - it was not crowded - service was okay. This is a locality owned and operated (mostly by family) restaurant that clearly has been there for some time. We ordered fried catfish one piece for my bride, three for me (should have gone with two) with onion rings. The meal comes with a salad bar - it was also just okay. Hush puppies were okay, but nowhere near as good as we have had elsewhere. I thought the fish and onion rings were very good with a light breading. Note: no adult beverages available.
Hidden Gem!!! Food was excellent and tasted fresh. Salad bar was on point too. Very reasonably priced. Glad we found this on our vacation

I'm glad to know this place is still around. I'm in Michigan but in the 1980s my brother and I would visit our grandparents who lived near Enid. My grandparents would take us here when we visited. We loved it! First time I ever had catfish, 1984, and I loved it! Best catfish ever. It sounds like it's still being run by friendly people and the food is good. If I ever get back to Mississippi, I will visit again.
