“We stopped in mid week for an early dinner - it was not crowded - service was okay. This is a locality owned and operated (mostly by family) restaurant that clearly has been there for some time. We ordered fried catfish one piece for my bride, three for me (should have gone with two) with onion rings. The meal comes with a salad bar - it was also just okay. Hush puppies were okay, but nowhere near as good as we have had elsewhere. I thought the fish and onion rings were very good with a light breading. Note: no adult beverages available.”

“Mrs Theresa and Mr Darrell have continued the great service and food traditions that Mrs Louise started here at Country Catfish. The food has been very consistent over the years and that's something in this day and age where suppliers come and go. The menu is consistent: fish, fries, onion rings, corn on the cob, slaw, and the regular condiments on the buffet - which they keep stocked but fresh - they do not over cook and have food sitting for hours. They also offer chicken strips, shrimp, etc to order from the menu. Drop by and check them out - I'll guarantee you'll find Mrs Theresa at the counter with her sweet smile to welcome you in.”

“Great food and extremely friendly staff! They were great. We came in late after being stuck in traffic and almost out of gas - not only did they work with us, but they offered to help us to the gas station. We made it, but they even checked on us to be sure we did! Food was great - we had Chef’s special filet and caramel cobbler for dessert. All homemade desserts and it shows! Worth the trip!”

“This was our first trip to The Snack Bar but definitely won’t be the last. We were greeted by the friendly staff who talked to us about their menu while we decided what to get. My fiancé had the large cheeseburger with everything on it. My son had the regular burger and I had the loaded fries. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!!! We will definitely be back.”
