We stopped in mid week for an early dinner - it was not crowded - service was okay. This is a locality owned and operated (mostly by family) restaurant that clearly has been there for some time. We ordered fried catfish one piece for my bride, three for me (should have gone with two) with onion rings. The meal comes with a salad bar - it was also just okay. Hush puppies were okay, but nowhere near as good as we have had elsewhere. I thought the fish and onion rings were very good...read full review

I'm glad to know this place is still around. I'm in Michigan but in the 1980s my brother and I would visit our grandparents who lived near Enid. My grandparents would take us here when we visited. We loved it! First time I ever had catfish, 1984, and I loved it! Best catfish ever. It sounds like it's still being run by friendly people and the food is good. If I ever get back to Mississippi, I will visit again.
