Taqueria El Trompo is an unassuming restaurant at a Valero gas station in Olive Branch. Don’t let the location fool you—the food is very good. The place is clean and welcoming, with polite, attentive staff and quick service. The tacos are phenomenal, fresh and tasty, especially Tripas y al pastor and El Pastor tacos. The fresh handmade tortillas can’t be beat. The queso dip has a wonderful flavor and is very smooth, and the homemade red and green sauce are tasty. The seafood soup, mixed fajitas, and Breakfast chilaquiles are delicious. The guac is chunky, fresh, and full of flavor. Highly recommend.
