We were greeted and seated right away. The service was nice all evening. I believe the other three people at my table enjoyed their meals more than I did mine. The cabbage was very good. The catfish was okay but only slightly warm, as was the cornbread. The corn on the cob was very tough. I was offered cut corn but I was full and didn't need more. The restrooms and restaurant was clean besides a cluttered area behind the cash register they use as an office area.

We love this spot! Nice southern soul food, very delicious! The hostess and waiters are always nice and helpful. My husband and I love to have lunch dates there.

The absolute worst Banana pudding! Hubs and I couldn't even choke it down. Fish was ok, not great. The buffet had a lot of options and the staff were nice.

I want to like Wray's. I'm a local and this is an Olive Branch local owned business. I'm not a big fan of catfish, which is fine, there are other options, Someone in our party had a catfish craving. I went here for lunch Sunday. I just can't see any way I'll ever go back. The Good: There was a reasonably good selection of mains(Fried catfish, fried chicken, fried chicken livers, tenders, Sausage & Peppers, hamburger steak, spaghetti), the sides were typical (fried okra, green beans, mashed potatoes, mac&cheese, fries, onion rings, and hush puppies), A few salad selections (slaw, potato salad, and a few other things), plus a small garden salad bar. Banana pudding. There was no shortage of any of the food items and most of them were fresh and at least warm. The 'just ok': Most of the food was just ok, cornbread was sweet like Jiffy mix, most items seemed off-the-shelf. The location is 'southern hole-in-the-wall, which is just fine for a local, southern place. Service was polite and helpful, but nothing amazing. Banana pudding was instant pudding with a few bananas and vanilla wafers mixed in. The Bad: Hamburger steak was tough and had a weird taste, livers were tough, spaghetti had a strange tastse, I don't think it was spoiled, but it had a bitter-sour taste. Here's the huge negative that outweighs everything else. Sunday lunch buffet was $18.75. That was a crazy high price for a mediocre buffet. At best, this should have been a $12 price. If they were $12-13 I wouldn't have liked it, but would have let it slide. Bottom line is I felt like I was duped out of $18.75 for this buffet. I won't be back. When

Great catfish. Great, friendly, fast service. Sides are delicious, with the exception of the slaw, I just skip it. Owner and staff are the sweetest folks you'll ever meet.

The food was great! There was a southern style buffet. They even had fried gizzards and green pickled tomatoes. The fish was fried right and the choice options for sides were just right.

Been coming to eat here for at least 18 years or more, but tonight was horrible and not the norm for Wrays. Food was way over done, dried out and the hush puppies had zero flavor. I left paying (tip included) almost 75.00 and we (three of us) felt it was the such a huge disappointment. We barely ate any of the food on our plates because it was not good, yet it cost me $75.00!!!I don’t plan on going again. After reading some other reviews, I’m beginning to think it’s going downhill.
